Many people can suffer from depression and never show the outward signs of having the condition.
They put on a brave face and go about their days as if nothing is wrong while inside they are in emotional turmoil.
How exactly do they hide all these negativity?

How much lying is involved to the point that no one could have seen/sense that something was wrong?

Depressed people rarely like to display their real feelings because of the massive insecurities that they have. Most would think "They don't care/It doesn't matter". Some are afraid that they would be treated differently and stereotyped.

How can I portray these masked lies and help general people understand more on how depressed people might truly think when they say something?
